North Colchester - Bridges
A long paintball field set in woodland with a ditch dividing the field in half, this ditch is crossed by three bridges, one on each flank, and a large central bridge.
The bridges on each flank have a raised guard tower on one side of the ditch, and each team has one on their side of the field. These “guard tower” bridges provide some great cover for an attacking team, giving them the advantage of height.
In the centre of the field is a forty foot bridge complex, with a bunker on each side of the bridge, with fire slots facing the opposing team.
The key to playing this field is to gain control of the bridges in the centre of the field, they provide the best cover, and you can dominate the paintball field from them. You can make your side of the large bridge in the centre of the field from the off, as long as you sprint for it, if you pause you will be eliminated.
Your objective once gaining a foot hold on the centre bridge is to take control of it, as once you have their bunker at the far end of the bridge you can lay down fire on the opposing team from fire slots at the rear of the bunker. From this bunker you can also crossfire onto the guard tower each side of the field, and once you have taken these you can start to eliminate their defending players at the back of the field.
Smoke bombs can be a great help in this game to cover your movements, especially as you push home your attack into the back of the field to capture their flag from the flag base at the back of the field
