North Colchester - Chemical Dump

A small paintball field set in relatively open wood land, with the features made up of 4 foot square chemical drums. These drums have been laid out in the field so they are a mirror image from each end of the paintball field, making it the same for each team.

The game has been designed as an “in your face” paintball game, were the action takes place from the off, as you can nearly shoot the length of the field. The drums have been laid out so they will favour an attacking team, they are angled to give good cover in the centre of the field, and poor cover at the back, but also afford could cover to any attacking team as they move down the field.

As with most paintball fields, the key to this field is a good break from your base, you will win this game from the centre of the field, so it is important to take all the ground you can from the off. Send all your men forwards, do not leave any defending, as if you lose the middle ground, your defending team members will be eliminated easily, as their defending positions are angled in such away that once they are being cross fired from the opposing team, they provide no cover.

Attack. Don’t get tunnel vision on this field, keep looking across the field as well as up, you will be surprised at how many players expose their flank to you, once you have cleared a barricade, move up straight away, look across the field for opposing players and eliminate them before they realise you have moved up. It is important that your players behind you move up as soon as you do to take the place that you vacated , so that they may continue to give supporting fire, and take your roll if you are eliminated.
