Paintballing Players arrive In Style At Skirmish Paintball Ipswich!

Its your birthday, and your parents have arranged a days paintballing for you at Skirmish Paintball Ipswich. How cool is that.

How much better can it get, well at our Skirmish paintballing venue near Ipswich we found out on Sunday. A low rumble was heard thru the woods, and up the track appeared a second world war six wheel truck, which had originally been part of the D Day Landings.

The birthday party arrived for their paintballing experience in this fully restored military vehicle, which must be the most spectacular arrival at our Ipswich paintball venue to date.

A little bit of history

Playing a part in the D-Day landings, this vehicle was left on the beaches of Normandy once it's services weren't needed. Taken over by the French Army, it was still used right up until 1980, where it was retired from service and brought by a private, French collector. 

From there, it was brought by the father of the children in the images below and fully restored to its full American Glory.

Fantastic piece of history, and nice to see the painstaking detail that has been put into this vehicle!
